This showreel consists of a variety of my works, including music videos and short films about sex work and addiction, grief and loss, and the arrival of undiscovered worlds.

Nikolai lives with his gambling-addicted mother Eve. To pay off her debts he gets paid for sexual favors. Eve knows about it and urges her son to continue in order to raise enough money.In the process Nikolai gets deeper and deeper into a world in which he fears getting lost.

During a suicide attempt Charlotte encounters her already deceased son whom she picks up from the train station in a dream. Together the two make their way home. Through a telescope Benjamin discovers with his mother the birth of a star and tries to show her the way back to life.

In this music video for Persephone, we embark on a journey in a crumbling world in search of the beginning. Surreal images paired with texture-rich music lead in a spiral of abhorrence until a state of weightlessness is reached.

The Darmstadt Talks 2019/20 under the season motto "Farewell to the Heroes" followed the path of the hero's journey and illuminated the motto in the context of space heroes. The images created for this purpose served as a visual framework for the discussion.
